Monolaurin is a monoglycerol ester of the fatty acid laurate. Lauric acid was first discovered as the main anti-viral and anti-bacterial substance in human breast milk. Our Monolaurin 650 is 650 mg of monolaurin per capsule to provide support for the immune system. While monolaurin has GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), it has not been evaluated as a treatment for any condition. Still, Monolaurin is considered safe to consume as a supplement.
